Joe Miller has a B.S. in Business from the University of South Carolina, a J.D. from the School of Law at the University of South Carolina, where he was a member of the Law Review, and an M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

Mr. Miller is principal of Miller Development, LLC, a full service, Charleston, SC based real estate development company, with experience in retail, office, residential and industrial. Miller Development has developed numerous commercial projects totaling more than $160 million in value, including 22 Walgreens stores and the award winning, 65 acre, mixed-use Stone Creek Village project in Cary, NC. Miller Development served for a number of years as a preferred developer for Walgreens in North and South Carolina. In addition to Walgreens, Miller Development has developed and leased property to numerous other retailers, such as Harris Teeter, Food Lion, Eckerd, and many restaurants (eg, Chop House, Ruby Tuesday, Chick-fil-A, Five Guys), banks and small shop tenants. Miller Development has also redeveloped a number of mixed-use buildings on King St. in downtown Charleston, which has included leases to such national retailers as Bebe and Sigred Olsen.

Prior to the formation of Miller Development, Mr. Miller served as Vice President of Development for Cousins Properties, an Atlanta-based REIT and 1997 NAIOP National Developer of the Year. While at Cousins, Mr. Miller helped develop power centers throughout the Southeast and had the opportunity to work with many top retailers, such as Target, Home Depot, and Barnes & Noble. Mr. Miller has also worked previously in development with Childress Klein Properties and Trammell Crow Company.

Dunston Powell has a B.S. in Real Estate from the University of Georgia and received the CCIM designation in 2002, which is held by fewer than 5% of the commercial real estate brokers nationwide. Mr. Powell has been fully vested in commercial real estate brokerage and development since 1995. Mr. Powell is a principal with Carolina Commercial, LLC and specializes in retail, land, and investment acquisitions and dispositions with over $200 million in closed/leased transactions.
